ΟΛΟΚΛΗΡΩΘΗΚΕ Η 2η ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΗ ΚΑΙ ΠΑΡΑΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΗ ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΑ
Mε επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκε και η φετινή 2η Ολυμπιακή και Παραολυμπιακή Εβδομάδα, που διοργανώθηκε από το Γαλλικό Ινστιτούτο σε συνεργασία με την ΕΘΝΟΑ στο πλαίσιο του ΕRASMUS+ προγράμματος Partageons tous ensemble la passion des jeux, στο οποίο συμμετέχει το σχολείο μας. Με χαρά συνάντησαν οι μαθητές των τμημάτων ΣΤ1’ και ΣΤ2’, έστω και διαδικτυακά, δύο Γάλλους αθλητές, τον Yohann Diniz(πρωταθλητής του βάδην) και τον Paul-Antoine de Belval (αθλητής της ξιφασκίας).
Τα παιδιά παρακολούθησαν με ενδιαφέρον τις συνεντεύξεις, έθεσαν τις ερωτήσεις τους και ενημερώθηκαν γύρω από δύο αθλήματα, όχι και πολύ «συνηθισμένα»!
Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα, επίσης, υπήρξε και η ενημέρωση των μαθητών μας σχετικά με το σύμβολο των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων ( ένα χρυσό μετάλλιο, η ολυμπιακή φλόγα και η «Μαριάννα», που συμβολίζει τη Γαλλική Δημοκρατία ), που θα διεξαχθούν στο Παρίσι το 2024, καθώς και για τα 4 νέα αθλήματα, που θα ενταχθούν!"
Το χρυσό μετάλλιο, σύμφωνα με τους διοργανωτές, εκφράζει τη βασική αρχή του πρωταθλητισμού: το πάθος για αριστεία. Μέσα στο μετάλλιο υπάρχει η φλόγα που συμβολίζει τη μοναδική ενέργεια των αγώνων, ενώ τα θηλυκά χαρακτηριστικά (τα χείλη) παραπέμπουν στη «Μαριάννα», η οποία αποτελεί γαλλικό εθνικό σύμβολο και είναι γνωστό σε όλο τον κόσμο. Το γυναικείο πρόσωπο αποτελεί επίσης φόρο τιμής στις γυναίκες αθλήτριες και παραπέμπει στους Ολυμπιακούς του Παρισιού του 1900, τη διοργάνωση όπου συμμετείχαν για πρώτη φορά γυναίκες. Η γραμματοσειρά αντλεί έμπνευση από το διεθνές καλλιτεχνικό κίνημα αρ ντεκό, το οποίο έχει τις «ρίζες» του στο 1924, χρονιά που η γαλλική πρωτεύουσα φιλοξένησε ακόμη μία ολυμπιακή διοργάνωση.
